| We are Noah's Ark/Shelly's,
a restaurant and catering business located in
Teaneck, NJ.
When we opened back in
1988, we were just a small deli. Now our organization
includes Noah's Ark Deli & Restaurant, Shelly's
Vegetarian Café, NAOmni Caterers and
our frozen food shipping business. We're proud
of how far we've come, and we continue to branch
out into new areas. We see ourselves not as
a store but as a company, and like all good
companies we're always looking for talented
people to join us and help us grow.
Right now, hospitality/food
service is one of the hottest industries in
the country. It's the largest single employer
in the U.S. and provides a unique, sky's-the-limit
opportunity for career advancement.
The skills you will acquire
at Noah's Ark/Shelly's are the perfect introduction
to a successful career in the restaurant business.
(They're also of great value in many other fields.)
Creativity. Problem-solving. Decision-making.
Interpersonal skills. Thinking on your feet.
If you want to learn, this is the place. If
you were born to make a customer smile or to
run a restaurant like a well-oiled machine,
we can help you sharpen your talents. In fact,
many of our former employees have gone on to
manage - and even own - their own restaurants.
The benefits of working
for Noah's Ark/Shelly's go beyond a regular
paycheck. We offer medical benefits, a 401(k)
plan and substantial discounts on our mouthwatering
(if we may say so ourselves) food. Add to that
flexible hours, a close-knit employee family
and a warm, casual atmosphere.
So come on, join us. We're
confident you'll find working here stimulating,
challenging and potentially, very rewarding.
